It didn’t take long for Elden Ring to be stolen by the developers. In fact, a fake version of FromSofware’s title appeared on the App Store today, not developed by the Japanese publisher, but by Guiyun Cloud Network.
A Chinese mobile game was removed from the iOS App Store today for plagiarism elden ringas reported by our colleagues geek culture. The fake game, which came from a China-based developer company called Guiyun Cloud Network, was called “Elden Ring – Dark Open World Action RPG” in the Apple App Store.
The new Action-RPG title from the Japanese developer has proven to be a huge hit internationally, so it’s no surprise that one developer is already trying to ride its wave of success.

Fake Elden Ring game full of microtransactions
As you may have already guessed, This game is by no means an official smartphone version ofelden ring Developed by FromSoftware. At the moment, it is clear that the real game is only available for PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 and Microsoft Windows.
If you want to try Elden Ring – Action RPG Dark Open World On your own, this unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately?) is no longer possible. Guiyun Cloud Network appears to have been removed from the App Store, so while those who have already downloaded it can continue to play it, it can no longer be found in the Store.

As these screenshots shared by user @ZhugeEX on Twitter show, The title even included official photos ofelden ringWithout any embarrassment, with some translations shown in Chinese.
Be careful, though, so don’t be fooled if the game is going to end up in the app stores. This is not the first time that a story of this nature has been talked about, two years ago, an fake game rainbow six sig appeared, forcing Ubisoft to sue Apple and Google.
