Students held a pro-Palestinian camp early Saturday afternoon on the campus of McGill University, in downtown Montreal.
Dozens of tents were set up to call on universities to review some partnerships. About a hundred people were said to be at the scene by early afternoon.
If the movement was started by students from McGill and Concordia universities, students from the University of Quebec in Montreal (UQAM) and Université Laval were also present.
Surrounding the camp are inscriptions in French and English.
