[À VOIR] Firefighters rescued the puppy trapped in an air duct for three hours

A tiny Pekingese dog spent more than three hours in an air duct before firefighters came to rescue him. The equivalent of three stories had fallen.

In an adorable video posted on Wednesday by South Metro Fire Rescue in Centennial, USA, we see the entire process of first responders rescuing little Archie. The 12-week-old puppy fell into an exposed air vent after jumping out of bed, and remained stuck for several hours.

His mistress, Monique Moon, called the authorities in a panic when she learned what had happened. “The whole community was on edge, trying to figure out when this dog was going to make it,” she told firefighters.

Firefighters and authorities from the Douglas County Sheriff's Office were at the scene. They first tried to find the dog when they heard its whines echoing throughout the house.

A local plumbing service also came to help.

The firefighters then decided to drill holes in the walls and ceiling to better locate the animal, but also use a small camera to integrate the network of ducts.

After a careful search, they finally found Archie. He did not have any injuries.

And in the video MI The moon looks very relaxed. “Thank you everyone for never giving up. I’m really happy,” she said emotionally. “She never stopped until she had my baby with me.”
