Adam Engstrom agrees with Al-Kindi

Enough.

We've been talking about it for a while, but now it's official: Adam Engstrom is under contract with CH. He signed his three-year entry-level contract with the Montreal organization.

The defender did not have time to finish the season in North America, but at least he signed.

Note that it is not impossible to believe that the defender could be loaned to his European club next year if he does not break into the Canadian's upcoming squad.

After all, since he's a left-handed defender, there likely won't be a spot for him as early as October 2024 in Montreal.

The defender has 22 points in 51 games in Sweden this season, in addition to four assists in 15 playoff games. He has an interesting profile for Kent Hughes and Jeff Gorton, who drafted the youngster in 2022, 92nd overall.

It fits what CH is looking for, basically.

He clearly adds to a well-stocked group of defenders. There will undoubtedly be transactions this summer, but currently, 13 people are eyeing the position in Montreal.

There will be people at Mass.
