Canada took the gold in the massive delays that have accumulated this summer at airports, with Toronto Pearson and Montreal Trudeau in first and second places, respectively.
Nearly half of arrivals at these two international airports were delayed over the summer, according to CNN reports data from FlightAware.
Meanwhile, Vancouver Airport ranked 10th in the ranking of airport delays worldwide, with more than a third of flights not landing on time.
Chaos has been felt since the start of the summer season all over the world, but passengers transiting through Montreal have not escaped it either for departure or for arrivals.
Air Canada has experienced major disruptions among airlines, particularly due to many baggage being lost or untraceable, as well as business issues and delays.
However, the situation improved at the beginning of September. As of September 8, 11% of Air Canada’s flights worldwide have been delayed, according to FlightAware. Around noon, 62 flights were delayed at Montreal-Trudeau Airport.
