“Aviation and Space” project of the Ile Faure College of Sainte-Foy-la-Grande

Regis “Raj” Rocca, Honorary Sponsor of the Class of 2023/2025

The class of 2023/2025 of the project “Aeronautics and Astronautics” at the Ile Faure College of Sainte-Foy-la-Grande (Gironde) is ready for take-off! Destination: A new academic year whose stops will be a journey for students to discover the world of aviation and space, and it will be more enriching!!!

As such, the Teaching Team is pleased to announce that Regis “Raj” Rocca, graphic artist and designer, who has earned the title of Air and Space Illustrator and Air Force and Space Ambassador, will be the honorary sponsor of this second project promotion! It is a great honor for our students to be able to address the place of art in aviation under the patronage of this great, internationally award-winning aerial artist whose works adorn the most famous aircraft: the France Patrol of the current world champion aerobatic team, including the Rafale single screen, and many others.

He will work in collaboration with Laurence Jean Albert, Associate Professor of Visual Arts, With fourth graders about creating a new project logo Which will lead to a competition to elect who will represent the promotion of the project categories, and With third graders about creating and manufacturing 3D planes. The students’ works, as well as those of Regis Rocca, will be presented to the public at the end of the academic year.
