againstOn Sunday, April 2, on the Tour & Taxis website, the 52nd edition of the Brussels Book Fair ends. In total, more than 1,200 authors and 300 exhibitors attended this year, spread over four buildings: Cheddines 1 and 2, Gare Maritime and Maison de la Poste.
Themes of this edition? “Let’s Dare to Imagine” as well as “Book Horizons” (proposed by eight regions and territories of France, honored this year)
On the last day’s programme, several authors: Adeline Dieudonné (“Real Life”), David Foenkinos (“The delicacy”), Philippe Bercovici (“The women in white”), Mélissa da Costa (“All the blue of the sky ” ), Philippe Geluck (“The Cat”), Pierre Kroll (“Recall Bites”), Amélie Nothomb (“Hygiene of the Assassin”), Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt (“Oscar and the Pink Lady”), and Julien Sandrel (“The Wonder Room”)
Guest of honor: Pierre Bourdage
French writer and star of fiction, Pierre Bourdage, is the guest of honor at this 52nd edition of the Brussels Book Fair. A guest who particularly fits with this year’s theme: “Let’s Dare We Imagine.” Science fiction guru Pierre Bourdge will be in for recording Sunday, April 2 at 12 noon at the Fahrenheit Theatre.
The fair also renames its four stages in honor of the great works of science fiction: Termer (Naval Station), Fahrenheit (Post Office), Arrakis (Pent 1) and Malpertoys (Pent 2).
