Don’t miss the game between the Red Wings and Canadiens starting at 7 p.m. on RDS and RDS.ca.
Red Wings-Canadiens preview
The Canadiens will look to snap their losing streak when they host the Detroit Red Wings tonight at the Bell Center.
CH will be looking for its first victory since March 27 against the Sabers in Buffalo. Then lost to the Philadelphia Flyers, Florida Panthers and Carolina Hurricanes.
Kayden Primo will defend the Habs cage. This would be his third start since the start of the season. In his final game against the Flyers, Primo gave up two goals on 26 shots.
Rafael Harvey Benard, Jake Allen and Jordan Harris will not feature in tonight’s match and will be assessed on a daily basis. Montreal called up defenseman Corey Schoenman from the Laval Rockets. The 27-year-old defender will be named alongside Joel Edmundson in the first defensive pairing.
The Red Wings haven’t been officially eliminated yet, but they are nine points behind the Pittsburgh Penguins and the last place to qualify for the playoffs.
