Currently, Al-Kindi is in the reconstruction period. It is no longer a secret.
So we have a chance to see a fairly young roster and that’s the exciting thing this year, I think. Even if expectations aren’t high, I’ve had a lot of fun watching the games since the start of the season because you can see the kids develop.
I don’t think I’m the only one either.
Kaiden Guhle is probably the player that impressed me the most so far. His calmness and self-confidence stand out and I’ve said this several times in recent days to some of my buddies, but…as of today, Guhle is (already) the best Habs defender. It’s that good, and I’m not at all afraid to say it out loud.
However, he loved the performances of Cole Caufield, Nick Suzuki and Kirby Dash. The latter continues its curve of progression, and if we are confident in what they bring to the club at the moment, I tell myself the next few years will be even more exciting.
So we can ask ourselves the following question: How long will it take before the Canadians dominate in the NHL? Chris Letang, during the Lavoie-Letang podcast, answered this question.
The defender of the penguins loves what he’s seeing in Montreal now, but thinks fans will have to wait a little longer. In his opinion, the Canadian will become a force within three years, which is an assumption that is not really crazy.

Within three years, the young man will reach maturity. Caufield and Dash will be 24, Suzuki 26, Juraj Slavkowski 21, Johly 23, and Jordan Harris 25.
It is very likely that the players you just selected are the heart of the team and that’s why I wanted to tell you about them. Of course they will still be young…
But, if it’s good now (and it is), just imagine what it will look like in a couple of years when it is developed.
Oh how sexy! no?
Renaud Lavoie took the opportunity to ask Letang if there was any player he had impressed with the Canadians since the start of the season (note that the Penguins were visiting the Bale Center last week) and he didn’t hesitate to speak for a second. About Guhle.
I told you this at the beginning of the text, but the young defender is starting to make a name for himself in the four corners of the league. He is really respected by his opponents and the reviews about him are always positive.
But, there’s also Nick Suzuki’s name coming back into the discussion. Defender of penguins believes that Game From the (new) Captain of Flanelle taking a tag since last year, he’s not wrong. We see how responsible Nick is on the ice and he is the best player in the club to date. He is, indisputably, the captain of this team and it shows when you see him playing.
All to say we’ll have to be patient a little longer, but good times are coming for the organization of Canadians… and for its supporters.
