Republican John Ross and his son Guy in the US Congress on June 3, 2024.
United States – This little guy had a good time. Republican John Ross was in the middle of a speech to the US House of Representatives when a boy sitting behind him got a funny look on his face. It was his son.
The elected official from Tennessee had spoken out against Donald Trump's conviction four days earlier when he noticed the boy in the camera lens. He started with a big smile and froze for long seconds. As you can see in the pictures below shared by US political news channel CSPAN, he positioned himself well to avoid being noticed.
John Rose, not realizing his son was clowning around, was sticking his tongue out and scrunching his face. He defended the Republican nominee tooth and nail against Joe Biden in the Nov. 5 presidential election. Donald Trump was convicted and sentenced in July in the Stormy Daniels trial.

“I look forward to President Trump appealing and I think he will win.” Meanwhile, House Republicans will do everything they can to expose the Biden administration's Judiciary tactics., followed by John Ross in his role. Who decided: “I think voters are going to re-elect Donald Trump. »
The elected official, who only discovered his son's behavior after his speech, responded to the viral video by writing on X: “That's what I get when my son asks Guy to smile on camera for his little brother. »
