Crave presents a brand new documentary series about Canadians

MONTREAL – In this all-new original documentary series, Crave offers a rare behind-the-scenes journey of one of the most iconic teams in professional hockey, the Montreal Canadiens. This docu-series follows Canadian players and staff throughout the 2023-24 season as the organization, across various sectors, attempts to lay the foundations for long-term success. By bringing together promising young players, a head coach with fresh ideas, a patient and tactical management team, and dedicated support staff from many departments, the series allows fans to witness the passion that fuels a dynamic and competitive club in the making. From the early-season golf tournament to the home opener to training camp, cameras have captured never-before-seen moments and stories, both on and off the ice. Whether it's the father-son trip to Boston, the trip to California, the trip to Western Canada, or the discussions surrounding the trade deadline, a host of unique and defining moments of the season are highlighted.

The eight episodes are one hour long Reconstruction: In the heart of Montreal Canadians, produced by Fair-Play in association with Bell Media, is written and directed by Andre St-Pierre. Narration is provided by Marc-André Grondin in French and Georges Stroumboulopoulos in English. The series, presented by Bell on Crave, is scheduled to be released later this year.
