Marc Labrèche will host a talk show on Novo in the spring.
The broadcaster announced Monday that the comedian will host an hour-long show twice a week that will include sketches, parodies, musical performances, and of course, interviews. This meeting, which does not yet have a title, will be recorded live and produced by Pamplemousse Media, France Beaudoin Fund, in collaboration with Bell Media.
In addition to hosting the talk show, Marc Labrèche will serve as co-producer.
Noovo speaks of a “friendly and eclectic” group and an “uninhibited” formula. “I am genuinely excited to embark on the adventure in Nouveau, and I am very excited to finally be collaborating with France Baudouin, a friend with whom I have wanted to work for a long time,” stated Marc Labrech, via press release.
Adds Labrech with his signature style of humor: “I hope the audience will be curious to come and meet us and follow us in a delirium, that they will laugh and/or be noticed, interesting, interesting, and that they will shed tears of gratitude every time during the end credits, and then after.” So, perhaps, that he will hasten to make passionate love till the next day.”
Ten weeks of broadcasting are planned. The arrival of Marc Labreche’s spring talk show in no way threatens Mary Lynn Joncas’ return to Nouveau. The comedian will host the second season of the show A wonderful spring for Mary Lynn During this period the network confirms.
