While on QUB Radio, Mr. Bruno opened up about his experience as a set of political debates. With so many election nights in the balance, he explains, Biden and Trump will have to rely on skepticism to score points with viewers.

“Making Doubts About Immigration, State Security, Age […]Abortion… is a hotly debated issue during this first debate,” he noted.

Their age is also a source of criticism from the two participants, aged 78 and 81 respectively. “They showed weaknesses on a few occasions,” he added. For him, it is a question of “who will be less of his word”.

“It's like an F1 race, we start, you want to keep pole position, you never want others to overtake you, with their arguments or their objections,” he explained.

“When you are the outgoing prime minister, you have a head start, but you have to defend a mandate. In the case of Biden and […] Trump, both already have a mandate. So both will want to prove that mandate [chacun] Leading is better than the rest,” he underlined.

Although the questions had already been prepared by the hosts and the team behind the organization of the debate, Mr. Bruno firmly believes that “with Donald Trump, you never know what to expect.”
