Partial insanity in Fall Day
La Micro-folie du Val d’Ay is an innovative digital museum experience, a place for engagement, communication and knowledge, designed for all audiences.
Two evenings will be presented as part of the Science Festival, in which Carrefour Arts and the Val Day Tourism Office are partners. The Departmental Science Festival is coordinated by the CCSTI (Centre for Scientific, Technical and Industrial Culture) in Ardèche.
The first evening is served on Tuesday 3 October In L’Ay’clipse Hall at 8:30 p.m. This will be a plenary session, which will allow you to attend “Play”, a contemporary ballet from the Paris National Opera. Choreography is by Alexander Ekman and music by Mikael Karlsson.
Swedish choreographer Alexander Ekman’s first ballet for opera dancers, was created at the Palais Garnier in December 2017. The choreographer invites the performers onto a spacious playing field where emotions and imagination are set free. To original music by Mikael Karlsson, bodies transform into silhouettes of deer or dive into a field of colorful balls. A show with communicative energy, “Play” combines dance, theatre, music and song in a festive and sometimes comic spirit, full of humor and not devoid of depth. Free access. Broadcast at 8:30 pm Duration: 1h45
The second evening will be held in Friday 13 October In the Ay Rieux complex, Peyre Bœuf room, at 8:30 p.m.
The mobile digital museum of the Microfolie of Val d’Ay will be available free of charge from 8:30 pm to 10 pm.
In the company of a facilitator or completely independently, come and discover the works of major national museums such as the Louvre, the Musée d’Orsay or the Palace of Versailles, while enjoying a unique digital experience. Free access. Broadcast at 8:30 pm Duration: 1h45
Interventions in school settings (schools, colleges, leisure centers and nursing homes) are organized from 2 to 13 October. As part of actions directed at a school audience, digital animation can be accompanied by a creative workshop according to the group’s chosen topic.
