A new exhibition takes place at Espace Keruzen in Saint-Gildas-de-Rhuys, from Tuesday 26 July to Sunday 7 August. Four artists share the three rooms provided by the municipality during this period.
The sea, great inspiration
Françoise Grall, originally from Finistère, discovered botanical drawing after studying chemistry. Her main inspiration is the sea, which led her to reproduce shipwrecks on canvas using small pieces of multicolored fabric.
For Sarah Pascal, painting has always been a part of her life. A student of the Martelot method, she teaches this technique at Roubaix in Les Hauts-de-France. Today, Sarah is a Marine Apprentice Painter with Official Painter Helen Legrand.
Sculpt and paint acrylic with a palette knife
Lucy Leger is a sculptor who lives in the Lorient region. I trained in the art of ceramics after several years of sculpting. His workshop is called “Atelier d’art de France”.
Its enamel is often made after months of experimentation. His inspiration is the sky, the sea and the earth. Marie-Laure Lettreau-Bertaut shares her life between Normandy and Saint Gildas-de-Royce. During her youth, she trained in Fine Arts in Caen. I started painting in 2009, first with acrylic and then with oil, brush and knife. His pictorial style is mainly oriented towards the sea.
