The Montreal Canadiens announced Sunday morning the sale of forwards Rafael Harvey Benard and Jesse Ylonen, as well as defender Corey Schoenemann and goaltender Kayden Primo, to the Laval Rocket.
With three matches to be played on the usual schedule, the Habs school club, fifth in the Northern Division, are still without a ticket to the playoffs.
Laval lost Friday by a score of 5-4 against the Cleveland Monsters but recovered on Saturday with a 5-to-3 win over the Syracuse Crunch.
The Monsters are still one point behind Laval with four games remaining on their schedule.
Jean-François Holly’s men will play their last three duels on home soil.
They will face the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins for the first time on Monday. They will next face division rivals, the Toronto Marlies on Wednesday and Syracuse Crunch on Friday.
