The À Vos Affaires team went on to test this new technology that was introduced in partnership with McGill University.
The customer simply needs to place his items on the counter and the eight cameras linked to the checkout do the rest.
It works with computer vision technology that detects products. It automatically recognizes the products on the tablet and then gives us a list of the items,” explains Vishnu Subramaniam, Senior Project Manager, Couche-Tard.
This new technology will be implemented at 7,000 Couche-Tard and Circle K branches in the United States.
This new technology will help employees give them more time to advise customers in the store.
