The Montreal Canadiens offered some medical updates on Twitter after Thursday’s loss to the New York Rangers, and it looks like Brendan Gallagher’s season could be in jeopardy.
Al Shugaa’s lock-up striker will be out for another three to four weeks. If he returns to the game in a month’s time, the Habs will only have two games left in the campaign.
Gallagher still has a lower body injury. He was seen several times with an orthopedic shoe on his foot.
This season, the 30-year-old Albertan has been limited to 25 matches. He has been affected by several health issues over the past few years.
As for him, Kirby Dash will be out “indefinitely.” The exact nature of his lower-body injury is unknown, but he has not played since February 14.
Finally, the shoulder surgery that Arber Xhekaj had on March 1st went smoothly. He should be able to participate in the next training camp.
