The Flex release of Chrome OS is expected to extend the life of enterprise computers.
Macs and PCs can now be upgraded with early access to the Chrome OS Flex cloud operating system, according to a statement released yesterday by Google Cloud.
According to Google’s director of business and education products, Thomas Riddell, Chrome OS Flex They can now be used to “improve the life” of devices already in use in businesses and organizations.
“Instead of getting rid of old PCs and Macs, update them with a modern and fast operating system to reduce e-waste,” Google Cloud offers for businesses and organizations.
The company states that Chrome OS Flex is designed for businesses and schools. In the original operating system, “painful management of legacy devices wastes valuable time for employees, students, and IT,” Google Cloud says.
