Seven teams of architects were recently selected for the design of the Grand Estée de Casablanca. The consortium also includes five British companies.
It was on this occasion that the President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF), Fouzi Lekjaa, met the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Morocco, Simon Martin.
“Great discussions with the head of the FRMF, Fauci Legja, to explore areas of cooperation in preparation for the 2030 World Cup,” the British Embassy noted on social media, “including British companies for the Casablanca stadium.”
As a reminder, the construction of the new Grand State de Casablanca in Bensliman cost about 5 billion dirhams. It will have 115,000 seats.
