The source of assistance for people experiencing homelessness, La Halte du Coin, will move in the hope of reducing the size of a camp set up near its headquarters in Longueuil that is causing anxiety among residents of the area.

About 25 tents are set up around La Halte du Coin, as well as a school and library along Rue Després, between Rue Bourassa and Rue Joliette.
As resources reached their maximum capacity, she was no longer able to welcome people in need into her abandoned church. Therefore, its general director, Pierre Rousseau, announced that it will move in the coming days.
