Conceived jointly by the municipality and youth at the end of 2019, the Laz youth space was opened two years ago. During the summer holidays, it is open non-stop from 10 am to 6 pm. Young people have access, upon registration, to a place to relax, discuss, and play table and console football that the City Council just acquired with six games. A place that is self-managed by young users, they should take care of it and act appropriately.
Evening debate and cooking workshop
The Town Hall works with its partners in the territory (Point Info Jeunes de Haute Cornouaille and Ulamir Aulne Community Centre), to regularly offer times for discussion and entertainment. Thus, on Wednesdays, from 6:30 pm, it is proposed to eat pizza and an evening of discussion. From the exhibition “The Standard is You”, produced by elected representatives of the Breton Regional Youth Council, teenagers are invited to discuss social norms and the way they affect their lives and their relationships with others.
On Wednesday August 3, a cooking workshop will be held from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm. On the menu, make some simple and inexpensive recipes with local produce and produce as little waste as possible.
These two high-profile events will be led by Colette Duval, Haute Cornwell Municipal Youth Information Point Coordinator.
