The cabin of a Boeing 737 left Trois-Rivieres late yesterday evening, accompanied by a large convoy of police.
The plane then traveled through various provincial highways to reach its destination a few hours later, at the Quebec City airport.
Of course, the device was not a single piece, but the dimensions of the different parts remain out of the ordinary.
It is the first time that such a large device has been transported by road.
The cabin alone is 100 feet long and 14 feet wide.
There were sometimes only a few centimeters under some bridges.
Planning the trip and dismantling the mid-air giant would take three months and cost hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Reassembly will take about ten days and will require about twenty people.
The reasons behind the move and the area of expertise of the organization that commissioned it, called Le 737, are still unknown at the moment.
Details regarding the new jobs of the air giant will be revealed in the coming weeks, but it can already be said that they will not fly anymore.
The phrase “The Plane That Will Never Take off” can be read on the company’s Facebook page.
“You will go very fast in terms of revelation,” he said magazine Who introduced himself as “the captain of the ship” and refused to reveal his identity.
