Competition is particularly strong in the fast food sector, so Burger King plans to redesign its branches to attract customers.
Customers entering Burger King locations “will start to see something different in 2024,” said Tom Curtis, Burger King’s president of the U.S. and Canada.
The brand officially unveiled the design of its new restaurant at the company’s franchise conference last week.

Currently, two Burger King restaurants have been redesigned with décor called “Sizzle,” CNN Business reports.

The new branches include digital ordering kiosks and streamlined lanes for drive-thru and pickup orders.

In the future, “we will focus on what represents the majority of our sales volume, which is drive-thru,” Mr. Curtis said.
The president of Burger King in the United States and Canada said that over the past year or so, franchisees, who operate the majority of Burger King restaurants, have obtained permits and found contractors.

By the end of 2024, about half of U.S. restaurants are expected to feature a Sizzle or Garden Grill design.
