Commune Envie is a social living space (EVS): this local structure aims to meet the needs for services and activities in the territory, and to strengthen social ties. It establishes actions with a collective aim, favoring local dynamism, and adapting to the needs of the territory. EVS aims to strengthen neighborhood solidarity through the development of services and activities with social and educational purposes, ”determines the young structure.

to me Rostreninit’s a Society of Collective Interest Cooperative (Scic) Gens de La Fontaine which, since last September, has been carrying this space, with the support, by agreement, of CAF des Côtes-d’Armor. Scic coordinates all partner associations, such as La Fourmie, Tous vers l’Emploi, EBECOB, Esprit FabLab, Ailes, MRJC, Ti Potager, K-Doret Association, Secours Catholique, etc.

Snack open to all once a month

By financing this project, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) “wishes that every citizen, whatever his means, will benefit from leisure and social connections.” That’s why the EVS team listens to residents on any project that creates connections and solidarity.

Gens de La Fontaine benefits from Espace K-Doret, a ‘third place’ that hosts specific events and workshops, but the activities on offer are also carried to partners and community halls. “This place is not necessarily a place, but a project that can move around according to the desires and needs of the residents,” define Claire and Margot, employees of the EVS.

Every third Saturday of the month, from 4pm to 6pm, EVS offers a snack at Espace K-Doret, in partnership with Rêveurs du COB, an association based in Glomel. This moment allows residents to be present and express their wants, needs, and ideas.
