Introducing the ABUS GameChanger 2.0 helmet: improved aerodynamics and maximum comfort

The next generation of ABUS’s iconic aerodynamic helmet has arrived: GameChanger 2.0. This helmet proves to be the perfect choice for professional cyclists, triathletes and aspiring athletes looking to increase their performance.

Aerodynamic

ABUS designers have worked hard to improve the GameChanger 2.0’s aerodynamics. The new version has a wider Kamm-Tail, which expands the helmet’s aero profile by 11%. Wind tunnel and track testing showed that at speeds from 46 to 52 km/h, the improved aerodynamic shape provides a decisive aerodynamic advantage.

The rear of the helmet has been pulled down 8 degrees at the bottom of the Kamm-Tail, which improves head position when lowered into the racing position. The central AEROBLADE at the top of the helmet directs air around the head more efficiently thanks to internal ventilation channels, improving both aerodynamics and ventilation.

Breathing

In terms of ventilation, GameChanger 2.0 makes great progress. The Airboost air intake at the front of the helmet, along with the new EYEBROW VENTS, directs up to 32% more air into the helmet. The ACTI CAGE’s horizontal supports specifically direct the air inside the helmet at higher speeds, ensuring consistent ventilation. FRONT EYEWEAR PORTS AND REAR AIRPORT VENTILATIONS accommodate curved sport eyewear temples, providing two easy-to-access storage options.

Convenience is at the core of GameChanger 2.0’s design. The new FLOW STRAPS PRO 12 mm wide strap system ensures a perfect fit of the helmet on the head. The ZOOM PRO central restraint works precisely and thanks to its new sliding system, guides both the straps and the adjustment system to the optimal position at all times.

protection

GameChanger 2.0 also includes the MIPS AIR NODE system, ensuring increased safety for runners. The helmet is also compatible with QUIN crash detection technology, providing additional safety on individual training rides. The QUIN port can be accessed to charge the sensor as a mini USB port inside the helmet.

GameChanger 2.0 is available in two versions, 11 different colors and three sizes (S, M, L). It weighs 260g (S), 265g (M) and 275g (L).
