The winner of the Jean Bellevue Cup for the Montreal Canadiens for the 2020-2021 season has been announced today. This trophy is awarded to the player most distinguished for his generous actions towards society.
Well, it was Jonathan Drouin who won the cup. So he succeeds Philip Danault, who won last season.

It’s a great reward for Drouin, who has been very involved with the community since arriving in Montreal in 2017.
Notably involved as an ambassador for the Fondation du Center hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal (CHUM). He then decided to commit to donating $500,000 to CHUM over 10 years, up to a maximum of $50,000 annually. Jonathan Drouin has also been involved in various charitable activities to help CHUM raise an additional $5 million.
In addition, the fourth edition of the Jonathan Drouin Golf Tournament, held on August 31, raised $810,000 on its own to help CHUM and its research center.
Having gone through several challenging events over the past season, the Quebec striker has definitely been affected by this appointment.
In short, we are all happy that he is back from a long break, and we see that he is healthy and ready to start the season.

I wrote years ago about the reasons behind Jonathan Drouin’s philanthropic work: his childhood, his parents, and how he grew up with constant exposure and appreciation for the reality of children at risk. https://t.co/SseLaVufI6

He would like to shoot until he reaches the age of forty.
And at 37, he’s still at his best. https://t.co/zAamrtt5HG
