The young man found himself in the emergency room of a Brunswick hospital on March 21 after friends forced him to drink a dangerous amount of alcohol and eat hallucinogenic mushrooms during a spring break party.
Trent has now recovered to full health, but said in a voicemail message left with WSAV that it would take a ‘long time’ for him to recover.
“I am alive and doing well. I know it will take a long time to get over this adversity, this trauma, but one day, I hope, in the next few months, I might be back,” he said.
