• A vinyl record containing the sounds of Lamborghini V12 engines? Why not !
From time to time, there is news that surprises us in the world of cars. Include the following in this list, as we learned that Lamborghini will present a vinyl record that captures the sound of the V12 engines of six legendary models that it has presented throughout its history.
It was thanks to the collaboration between audio giant Technics, as well as Lamborghini, that this was made possible. In fact, the manufacturer will offer the SL-1200M7B record player, manufactured by Technics, which bears a completely Lamborghini signature and style. The table background can be of three colors: red, yellow, or green. The drawer in which the disc is placed is decorated with the company logo. The Lamborghini branding is clearly visible under the control buttons, on the right, near the Technics logo.
However, the piece de resistance that will be offered remains the vinyl that will capture the sound of the V12 engines that have served six models in the brand's history. You'll find that from the 400GT, the legendary Miura, as well as the 5.2-litre, 455bhp V12 for the 25th Anniversary Countach. The Revuelto will also be there, as will the Murcielago and Diablo, a block that was 6.0 liters in the latter case.
It remains to be seen how much the kit will cost, which will be offered on a limited basis. The Technics record player starts at $1,100. So we can imagine a few hundred dollars extra for unique content and style of the template.
It is often said that the sound of an engine is truly music to the enthusiast's ears. This expression takes on its full meaning here, literally.
It will be possible to order this collector from May 9. It will only be on display until the end of June, leaving some flexibility on how many will be produced. We give people enough time to decide and we will produce what is needed. At least that's the impression we have.
