Before group training…

Paquette is recovering from a thigh injury after Nico suffered a concussion against Ottawa on October 1.

Watchman Jake Allen It should start Thursday night against the senators. He made a few saves with striker Jesse Yellonen and defender Brett Colak moments before the main set arrived.

The Canadians also announced that they have dropped four other players from the training camp.

Strikers Gabriel Burke and Raphael Harvey Benard have been ceded to Laval Rocket (AHL), as well as defender Gianni Fairbrother.

As for the attacker Michael PezzettaHe will have to be given up before he can join the group at Laval.

After recovering from an upper body injury, right winger Cole Caufield returned with the rest of the team and completed the trio of Tyler Toffoli and Nick Suzuki.
