It was understood from the beginning between the hospital and the city hall of Marmandy: the Espace Expo, so far dedicated to vaccination, should leave some space for Nuits Lyriques during the festival.

Because the festival, according to health protocol restrictions, cannot take place in comedy this year. Pollen Square, for its part, simply heads to the rear of the building.

Yesterday evening, Monday August 2, 2021, for about three hours, about twenty people moved about 2,000 square meters of care premises (including a lot of empty spaces, of course, to wait).

“This tight timing allowed us to continue vaccinations until 5 pm, as usual, and to resume vaccinations the next day at 9 am,” determines Dr. Catherine Degen Alves, pharmacist in charge of the hospital pharmacy.

A quick operation that could have been done thanks to the progress made by the town hall services, the previous week, which in particular had installed the tents.

However, on Monday, computers and administrative equipment, small equipment (hydro-alcoholic gels, presses, waste containers, etc.), as well as refrigerators for vaccines, will still have to be installed.

“We were able to make this move thanks to the good understanding between the municipality teams and the hospital teams,” confirms Christian Soren, who oversaw the site in his double hat. Executive Director of the Hospital’s Pharmacy Department.
