The Vietnamese Meetings Association, the International Center for Interdisciplinary Science and Education (ICISE) and the MIDSEA Network opened the event “Summer School, Workshop, Seminar on MIDSEA”, on Monday, June 24 in Quy Nhon City, Binh Dinh Province (Central). .

This is an important event on the topic of infectious diseases, with the participation of more than 70 scientists and graduate students from 17 countries around the world.
The MIDSEA Network is a consortium of people working on infectious disease modeling in Southeast Asia. The network aims to bring together modellers, broadly defined, from the region to exchange ideas, learn from each other, and contribute to outbreak control in Southeast Asia through research.
Professor Tran Thanh Van, President of the Vietnamese Meeting Association and ICISE, said that in its development strategy, ICISE would like to coordinate with international scholars in the scientific field to organize events such as the “Summer School, Workshop, Seminar on MIDSEA” event. , in order to contribute to the scientific development of Southeast Asia.
The event continues until Sunday, June 29.
