The Chicago Blackhawks had their fair share of problems early in the season, but now they’ve won back-to-back games for the first time in the past few days.
Goalkeeper Marc-Andre Fleuri also struggled in the first month of the campaign, but goalkeeper coach Jimmy White believes things are going in the right direction.
“We weren’t really good in front of the goalkeepers,” he explained in an interview GC, Wednesday. Marc Andre is the first who wants to do everything and wants to do a good job for the team.
“He is putting a lot of pressure on himself. He is a very proud athlete. Things have been going well lately and I think we are going in the right direction.”
Despite winning a Stanley Cup, an Olympic gold medal, and a Visina Cup, Fleury remains very humble and it’s his exemplary attitude that impresses Witt the most.
He admitted: “Marc Andre has done everything in his career, but what impresses me the most is how amazing his character is.”
“He loves to play hockey, he loves GameHe continues to smile even in defeat. I’m really lucky to work with him.”
