Patty Matthews (Murphy, formerly on the WWE side) was in an interview with Forbes, where she told us about her time in the WWE, the layoffs, and revealed that she did not have much time there.
He tells us:
“It’s hard, people are afraid they’ll lose their livelihoods. But everyone is fired. Austin is fired, Hogan is fired, everyone is fired. Obviously, we want sustainable careers and want to put us in place. Everyone gets fired at once. It’s so bad, but everyone gets fired one day.
But, at the same time, it happened to me and I had less weight on my shoulders. I am excited for the future and can finally do the things I want to do. I did not go to Australia for three years due to lack of retirement.
That should not be the case. That should not be the case. I am not opposed to it, I just want to work. But it should also be something I can go home to see my family. For the past eight years, I may have been home for 30 days.
Patti Matthews is one of the most talented superstars and he is proving it again and again on the WWE page. He was fired on June 2 and then made some appearances on the independent circuit, where he began his NJPW debut last Saturday against Rainmaker Kazuchika Okada in The Wall 2021. The future is bright for Barry Mathews from WWE.
