A brand new festival will light up Montreal this September, launched by Multicolore, the Quebec company behind Piknic Électronik and Igloofest. its name ? Palomosa.
The first edition of the Palomosa Festival will be held on September 5, 6 and 7 at Parc Jean-Drapeau in Montreal. Palomosa replaces the MEG (Montreal Electronic Groove) Festival, Montreal's first festival dedicated to electronic music. MEG, which has been around for more than 20 years, was integrated into Multicolore's programming in 2018.
“Palomosa will continue to bring life to MEG’s original promise, which was to celebrate the diversity of festive music,” Multicolore wrote Thursday in a press release. On the program: pop, rock, R&B, as well as Latin and electronic music. The first names in the program will be revealed on April 25.
