The Honor president had already mentioned the launch of the Honor 200 phone in France, there have been leaks, and we now have more details about these mid-range smartphones. It has been made official in China, but also in France, and we discover interesting technical sheets, including the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 and the H9000 sensor for the Pro model.

The first element that catches your eye when you discover the Honor 200 and 200 Pro is their design. Both models have an oval-shaped camera module placed vertically, which is something out of the ordinary. The back of the smartphone appears to be made of glass or a similar material, and the slightly curved edges advertise a good grip. Special mention to the wavy pattern on the back, which adds a touch of originality.

Interesting technical characteristics

In terms of technical characteristics, Honor 200 and 200 Pro have something to attract you. The Pro model is particularly well equipped, with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor (be careful, it's not 8 Gen 3, it's much more powerful) and a 50-megapixel H9000 image sensor, 1/1.3 thumb-sized, and optical stabilization. For its part, the Honor 200 relies on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, a 50-megapixel image sensor with an IMX906 sensor, and two cameras as well, but this remains quite true for a mid-range smartphone.

Another strong point of the Honor 200 Pro: its 5200 mAh battery, which should guarantee good autonomy. But above all, it supports 100W ultra-fast wired charging, which should allow the battery to be fully recharged in record time. The Pro model also supports 66W ultra-fast wireless charging, as well as reverse wireless charging. Moreover, it is also IP55 certified for water and dust protection, while the Honor 200 does not have such a certification.

At the moment, we do not yet have details about the European release of the Honor 200 and 200 Pro. In China, prices start at €230 for the Honor 200 (8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage) and go up to €580 for the Honor 200 Pro (16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage). Of course, you may have to add a few tens of euros for European models, due to taxes and distribution costs.
