Three players were forced to leave the match due to injuries, including two important members of the team.
First, midfielder Roop Hintz did not appear in the game again after being injured at the end of the first half in what appeared to be an innocuous game. In the sequence below, it appears he was injured after receiving a double check from Nathan MacKinnon and not during the blocked throw since the injury is classified as an upper body injury.

Then defenseman Chris Tanev did not appear on the ice after Ross Colton checked him hard in the third period. It is very likely that the Stars did not want to take any risks with their defender since the play occurred while they were comfortably leading.
Finally, striker Craig Smith is also bothered by injury. Smith has been limited to a limited role since arriving in Dallas, still playing on the team's fourth line and bringing energy.
Stars coach Peter DeBoer is expected to receive more details about the nature of these injuries during the day.
Match No. 5 between the two teams will be held on Wednesday evening at eight o’clock in the evening on the TVA Sports channel.
