The Los Angeles Kings “paid for” the services of Pierre-Luc Dubois on June 27, in exchange for Gabriel Vilardi, Alex Iavallo, Rasmus Kubari and a second-round pick in 2024. The goal of this treaty was clear: the Kings wanted to be taken seriously.
Rob Blake’s group has certainly instantly become one of the bands aspiring to top honors. With a midfield consisting of Anze Kopitar, Filip Danault, and Dubois (who was supposed to be the starting No. 2), it makes for a brutal equation.
But everything is not rosy for the Kings, who are pressing hard and controlling several areas, as Dubois is far from the standards estimated so far. On the offensive level, he has only 12 points, including five goals, in 27 games.
If you compare his offensive stats to the players involved in this deal, it’s a little embarrassing. Vilardi, who missed several matches due to a right knee injury, has nine points in 11 games. So he has just three fewer points than Dubois, but in 16 fewer games.
This is Velardi’s temperature check…
In an alternate universe, the trade between Pierre-Luc Dubois and Gabriel Vilardi was a one-for-one swap.
Your thoughts if this is the case. ⬇️

In Buffalo’s case, he collected 15 points, including five wins, in 29 matches. Incidentally, it’s better performance That Dubois…
From the start of the 2023-24 campaign, it’s an obvious sign that the Winnipeg Jets are winning so far, right? This is without counting the nine points that Kopari achieved in 11 matches in the American League. This one has it Upside down Very interesting, which can please planes immediately.
In the team standings, the Kings are third in the Pacific League with 38 points. The group has scored a total of 97 goals and allowed 67 goals. The Jets sit at the top of the Central Division with 38 points, 97 goals scored and 76 goals against.
The Kings are often mentioned as a somewhat surprised team, can we say the same about the Winnipeg Jets, who had plans to rebuild not too long ago? definitely!
