Knierim and Frazier performed a jaw-dropping routine to Harry Styles’ “Sign of the Times” for the 30+ point win. They made a small error with their triple duoloop-double duoloop-double duoloop combination, but corrected it on all the other elements, especially the harder ones.
Knierim and Frazier led Chan and Howe by more than 15 points — 81.96 to 66.86 — after completing their best short program.
The couple, who train in Southern California, joined after Gnirim’s husband Chris retired from skating in 2020.
Chan and Howe continued their breakout season with a season-best score of 196.86. They lost points when they fell on a triple loop thrown by Chan.
