Science Festival 2023 in the Metropolis of Lyon and the Rhône University of Lyon 6 – 16 October
The 2023 edition of the Science Festival takes place throughout the Rhône department from 6 to 16 October 1
Every year, across France, the Science Festival invites the general public to discover the latest news, innovations and enjoy all things science. Scientific stakeholders mobilize to provide events, exhibitions, conferences, visits, etc. The 2023 edition, from October 6 to 16, will be under the slogan “Sports and Science.”
One year before the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the Science Festival highlights sports practice. Whether it is for luxury or high level, whether we practice it as a recreational activity or in an educational context, as an amateur or a professional, sport occupies a central place in our daily life and society. It shines with its social, economic, and media comprehensiveness…and also with its scientific presence.
Based on this theme, the audience will be able to meet research stakeholders and learn about the latest developments in pharmacology, neuroscience, psychology, medicine… and many other disciplines.
From 6 to 16 October, you can find nearly 300 fun events, free and open to everyone, throughout Lyon and the Rhône. Tour the 21 municipalities in the department to meet those who practice science today or who explain it!
