Science moves with Espace Mendès-France

If you don't go to science, science will go to you this summer! Sciences en vadrouille is part of the Holidays for All programme, supported by the city of Poitiers.

The idea is to provide free exploration spaces and workshops on different topics that curious children can access without restrictions. There is no door, no entrance ticket, no schedule or time to visit, here, we approach, take a look, approach, and end up dealing with, observing and asking all our questions to the facilitators who are there to answer them.

By taking up residence in crowded spaces during the summer period, Sciences en vadrouille reaches an audience that does not necessarily pass through the doors of Espace Mendès-France, children of course, but also adults who find in it a certain interest.

Three dates should be included in your summer diary.

On August 9, from 2 pm to midnight, the Space Bus Association will set up shop and take visitors to the stars through activities at Espace Mendès-France. On the program: discovering the solar system, the life of astronauts, the planetarium, while waiting for the night and live observation of the sky during this falling night.

On July 14 in Ilôt Tison, the mini science village will be created in collaboration with the association Les Petits dégréards and will offer lots of experiments and manipulations to discover science while playing between two sunbathing sessions.

On August 28, at the Placeri Social and Cultural Centre, children and families will be offered ongoing activities throughout the afternoon to discover the world we live in from a scientific and fun perspective. Six o'clock in the evening, science presentation amazing air, He will discuss the properties of the air before an astronomy conference at 8:30 p.m., and finish with observations of the starry sky at 9:45 p.m.
