Super Nintendo World will open in California in 2023

We finally have an amusement park based on the Super Mario Bros. universe. which will soon open in North America.

Super Nintendo World will officially be part of Universal Studios Hollywood on February 17, 2023. When this new version of the park opens, visitors can experience Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge ride, an augmented reality experience inspired by the game Mario Kart. Those waiting in line to ride will also be able to see Mount Beanpole up close, a giant representation of a Super Mario level.

The park will also have many interactive elements such as blocks to hit and climbing facilities. As in the original version of the park (in Japan), visitors will be able to collect virtual coins by walking through the attractions using an app. There will also be a restaurant called the Toadstool Café and a gift shop called the 1-UP Factory. Those waiting in line to ride will also be able to see Mount Beanpole up close, a giant representation of a Super Mario level.

It will also be possible to purchase interactive wristbands called the Power-Up Band, which is an accessory connected to the Universal Studios Hollywood app. These wristbands allow you to check how many coins and keys you have collected at a glance as well as unlock special interactions with Mario, Luigi and Princess Peach. These bracelets will be available in six different designs.

The first edition of this new theme park has opened its doors In Japan (at Universal Studio Japan) in March 2021 And you can discover many attractions related to Super Mario that will delight fans of this colorful universe young and old. There are also two other new versions of the park in the works, one at Universal Studios Singapore and one at Universal Epic Universe in Florida.
