Ten families in Estrie will benefit from $5 million

11 Estre residents won the $5 million classic jackpot in Lotto 6/49, during the drawing held on 1^any Last June.

The winners purchased a Formula Groupe ticket without each other's knowledge, according to a Loto-Québec press release published on Friday. Ten families will benefit from the award, as the mother-son duo will share $500,000.

One of the winners, Ginette Brault, had a nice surprise when she went to collect her prize at Loto-Québec. Instead, she thought she had won $50,000. She wants to take advantage of this high amount to take a trip to Italy.
