Keisha Nash Whitaker, the ex-wife of actor Forest Whitaker, died at the age of 51 earlier this week.
Their youngest daughter, True, announced the sad news on her Instagram account on Thursday.

According to the source he trusted daily MailShe had visited the hospital several times in recent months due to intestinal problems related to the anorexia she had suffered from for several years.
In 2014, she entered a treatment center in Chicago. Her then-husband, Forest Whitaker, stayed by her side through the difficult times before the couple divorced in 2018.

They have been married for 22 years and have three daughters together: Autumn, Sunette and True, who are now 32, 27 and 25 years old respectively.
Born in Boston, Keisha Nash is a model, actress, producer, and entrepreneur. In particular, she was the first African-American model for fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger.
