exhibition weak point It presents the work of students from the Sculpture Course 3. These present works from different subjects, techniques and perspectives collected here under the theme of vulnerability.
To be vulnerable is to be vulnerable. Whether on a psychological, physical, relational, societal, environmental or dimensional level, vulnerability can take a more or less significant place. Since vulnerability is usually seen as a weakness or defect in nature, it bothers us and we don’t want to be particularly attached to it. However, when you think about it, it often becomes a source of empathy, awareness, and awareness. In this sense, these sculptural works invite you to approach them.
The artists showcasing their work this winter are Luan Begin, Myel Peréault, Megan Blanchard-Geiger, Jani Gamelin, Luca Geiger, Kathryn Nadeau, Sarah Maud Nolte, Zachary Obomsaouen, Hélène Rochelou, Nicolas Ysergé.
Double opening
First-semester students in the Arts, Letters, and Communication program (interdisciplinary option) who enrolled in the Writing Workshop course last fall will also present the results of collaborative work between programs. Based on the drawings made by the visual arts students, students of the Writing Workshop course made written snapshots, a brief literary form similar to a written image, which will be displayed outside the gallery space.
