A customer of a small company at an American airport denounced a situation she encountered regarding the issue of tipping in a video clip that went viral.

The clip, which has already garnered more than 10 million views on the social media network TikTok, has sparked controversy over the culture of tipping in North America.
While she bought a bottle of water for C$2.75, the self-service cash register offered to leave a tip, which she declined.
The woman also had to write her name to complete the application.
In the comments below the post, the reactions of Internet users multiplied, demanding a review of the idea of tipping in the country.
“Tipping culture has gotten out of hand. The only places I tip are restaurants,” one user said.
