“These pilots will receive English language training” in Texas in September, before “taking part in pilot training” in Arizona, in the southwestern US, the following month, said Pentagon spokesman Gen. Pat Ryder.

Earlier Thursday, Norway announced that it would become the third country to supply Ukraine with copies of the American-designed plane, after Washington’s approval.
Denmark promised 19 devices while the Netherlands should provide, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, 42 copies.
According to General Ryder, training for Ukrainian pilots should typically last five to eight months, depending on their current skills.
The spokesperson emphasized that language training was necessary at the beginning of the training “given the complexity and English terminology required to fly these aircraft”.
He further noted that the United States is conducting this training in view of the impossibility for Denmark and the Netherlands to manage all the training of Ukrainian pilots.
