Vietnam Airlines has carried over 6 million passengers on Australian routes.
On March 5, Vietnam Airlines celebrated three decades of service to Australia. Vietnam Airlines' operations on Australian routes carry over 6 million passengers, operate more than 12,800 flights and move nearly 170,000 tonnes of cargo.
From 7 December 2023, Vietnam Airlines will offer a direct link to Perth, operated three times a week by modern Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft.
- Departs Ho Chi Minh City at 3:50 PM and arrives Perth at 11:05 PM on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays
- Departs Perth at 00:50 and arrives Ho Chi Minh City at 06:10 +1 on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays
Sydney
Vietnam Airlines offers a direct link to Sydney, with 10 flights per week operated by Airbus A350 aircraft.
- Departs Hanoi at 11:40pm and arrives in Sydney at +1 12:15pm on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays
- Departs Sydney at 2:15pm and arrives Hanoi at 9:20pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays
- Departs Ho Chi Minh City at 8:45pm and arrives Sydney at 8:15am daily +1
- Departs Sydney at 10:15 AM and arrives Ho Chi Minh City at 4:10 PM daily.
Melbourne
Vietnam Airlines offers a direct link to Melbourne, with 10 flights per week operated by Airbus A350 aircraft.
- Departs Hanoi at 09:00 and arrives in Melbourne at 22:15 on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays
- Departs Melbourne at 11:15pm and arrives Hanoi at +1 05:55am on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays
- Departs Ho Chi Minh City at 9:05pm and arrives Melbourne at 9:35am daily +1
