In search of a new equipment supplier for the Greens, the Algerian Federation could have found an alternative to Adidas. The successor to the three-line company will be none other than fellow German Puma.
The collaboration between FAF and Adidas is ending soon. In January 2023, the company structure of Djahid Zefizef will be free to deal with a new equipment supplier, after the union refused to renew the existing contract. In fact, in a press release published last August, the first Algerian football officials took off to bid To select the new equipment supplier for the Algerian national team.
In the latest news, the FAF was going to choose Puma, which should take back the Algerian selections and wear the Greens in the future. In addition, the formalization of the contract between the parties should take place next month.
And as a reminder, the brand of jumping cats has already worn foxes in the past. The brand was associated with FIFA headed by Mehmet Rawara in 2009, and wore the clothes of Majid Bougherra’s partners during the 2010 World Cup in South Africa on the orders of Rabah Saadane, but also in the 2014 edition that takes place in Brazil under the leadership of Vahid Halilhodzic.
