The answer: yes!
Since singer Carl Tremblay announced he had prostate cancer, the band had to cancel some of their shows in Quebec.
On the other hand, festival-goers will have the opportunity to witness the precious performance of the iconic Quebec group this evening at 9:15 pm.
“We clearly said we’d be attending tonight because it was probably one of their last ‘shows,’ so we definitely wanted to attend that,” says this fan excitedly.
“Les Cowboys Fringants are a great group,” says this young Congolese immigrant to Canada who sees the group’s music as a way to immerse himself in Quebec culture.
Tens of thousands of people are expected this evening at a site in Monterje.
The International of Montgolfieres se déroulera jusqu’à dimanche avec d’autres artistes en tête d’affiche tels que Rick Ross et Koriass for the soirée de vendredi, Ne-Yo ainsi que Claudia Bouvette the samedi and puis finalement Roxane Bruneau who bouclera la weekend.
